Workshop with regency dances
1st - 3rd June 2026 • Town Hall • Eichstätt
Incredible - spend almost a whole week at Eichstätt Palace!
This time I invite you to the beautiful Old Eichstätt Palace
to get in the mood for the ball day
and to learn the numerous dances in the style of 1800.
Many country dances from the Regency 1770-1815
and from the well-known repertoire of the Pemberley Players, Liverpool,
will be danced at the ball, all of which will be shown again at the ball.
With a thorough preparation, the ball will be carefree and happy.
But despite all the sometimes difficult work,
the focus is of course on having fun dancing.
But everyone who cannot take part in the ball
is also very welcome to get to know all these beautiful dances with us.
The course is particularly important for the inexperienced ball participants
who do not only want to take part in the easy dances.
This course also includes dancing through all the ball dances on Friday,
which will be attended by other course participants.
But I have now reduced the workshops
apart from the brisk dancing to four hours a day.
So the week is no longer a stressful dance marathon
and we find the time to visit the alluring treasures
of the area and stroll through the various palace complexes
in our robes and stroll through the beautiful parks.

German is predominantly spoken during the courses.
At the ball, all calls are as in German and English,
I use the historical English names for the dance figures.
I use the figure catalogs of the era as a guide.
A list/catalog of the figures and the dances
are already available online.
Thank you for your understanding.
I wish you a smooth participation and a lot of enjoyment.
